[WJ] - I feel like an idiot, that after talking to one of my best friends about a guy that I am currently involved with - in a strictly non-committal way - I would allow myself to get like this. To revive even the slightest bit of hope again, of expectations that things can change, will change, and start to get better, like how it used to be. But of course, as always, it never happens. And I’m right back to square one, not knowing what the hell I’m doing, and neither knowing nor having the kind of strength required to move from here towards the future. Allowing past memories to continue having a say in the present can really do that to you.

But I will persevere. I have to. And I will get better, one step at a time. Maybe not today, not in a week, or even a month - but eventually, and as clichéd as it sounds, time will heal everything. 

‘Cause heaven knows that I shouldn’t have to put up with this nonsense. I deserve way better.
